Schuetzen Match (10:00am)

$5 – $15This bullseye target match draws its name from the German word for “shooting.” Classic pre-World War I rifles and reproductions are allowed. Bullets must be lead with no gas checks.
Shooters have 60 minutes to shoot 50 rounds at two 200-yard bullseye targets (25 rounds per target), with all shooting done “off hand.” These matches are held at the lower silhouette range except during cold or inclement weather, when the matches move to BCR’s Schuetzen House.
Schuetzen matches are held on the second Sunday of each month from September to March beginning at 10:00am.
New shooters are always welcome at this event. Cost to participate is minimal ($15 for adults, $5 for youth). Spectators are also welcome at no cost.
500 YD RANGE IS NOW OPEN:
Beginning Sunday May 28, the 500 yard range will be open to the public from 10:00 – 6:00 pm on the 4th Sunday each month. Shooters must use hollow point, soft point or cast lead bullets only. No FMJ, Steel Jackets or Tracers allowed. Target distances are 200, 300, 385 and 500 meters.
